A pint was a measurement for volume, equal to one-eighth of a gallon, or roughly one-half liter.

Miles O'Brien had pints of beer at Quark's several times in 2372. He ordered one after a holoprogram featuring the Battle of Britain, while his companion Julian Bashir had a neat Scotch. (DS9: "Homefront") Later that year, O'Brien stopped at Quark's for a quick pint before heading home to his family. (DS9: "Accession")

A changeling impersonating O'Brien teased Benjamin Sisko while on Earth the same year, telling Sisko he'd hoped the two would go to a bar, play darts, and have a pint. (DS9: "Paradise Lost")

In 2375, Tom Paris and Harry Kim each had a pint of Ktarian beer. (VOY: "Dark Frontier")

In 2376, in the Fair Haven holoprogram, Seamus asked Paris for some money to toast Paris' supposedly deceased grandfather. When Paris gave Seamus one shilling, he complained it would take three pints to do "a proper job," whereas the shilling wasn't even enough for two pints. (VOY: "Spirit Folk")

Background information[]

In an ultimately unused line of dialogue from the final draft script of TOS: "The Naked Time", self-appointed "Captain" Kevin Riley, while suffering from polywater intoxication, announced to the crew of the USS Enterprise that all female crewmen who attended an upcoming formal dance would each be given a pint of perfume from ship's stores.

As described in a stage direction from the final draft script of TOS: "Miri", "pint-sized, one-kid sailboats" were to be visible (among other equipment) in the window of Biggs' toy store.
