Knicknac was a fictional character in Brad Boimler's holonovel Crisis Point II: Paradoxus. He was not scripted by Boimler, but was rather generated by the holodeck to populate the background of the Tatasciore IX setting when Boimler and his friends played the movie in 2381.

When Boimler's attention was drawn by Illustor's claim that "Ki-ty-ha has the true answers for life's most important questions," Knicknac, one of his acolytes, encouraged Boimler's interest. Boimler, depressed over the recent accidental death of his transporter clone William Boimler, decided to abandon the story he had written and follow them, despite Beckett Mariner's annoyance that he was engaging with "random extras".

Knicknac third act reveal

"Third act Knicknac reveal!"

Later, after Boimler had been betrayed by Illustor and thrown into the brig of their ship for failing to find Ki-ty-ha, Knicknac broke him and Mariner out of their cell once Boimler resolved to continue the story. He proclaimed that he had never lost faith in "Purplehead", and also that he was in love with Boimler, to which Boimler obliviously reciprocated. The three of them proceeded to the bridge, where Knicknac unveiled a monstrous five-armed physique and defeated several of Illustor's acolytes. (LD: "Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus")

Knicknac was voiced by Ben Rodgers.
