Kanak, also known as Regulator 665, was an Akoszonam regulator working for the Emerald Chain. She worked under Osyraa and Zareh.
In 3189 she participated in the takeover of the USS Discovery. During that time, she was assigned to assist in the capture of Michael Burnham. She confronted an injured Burnham in a Jefferies tube, but Burnham managed to activate the fire suppression system, venting the contents of the tube into space. Kanak was blown into space and killed.
