Multiple realities
(covers information from several alternate timelines)

An imaging log was a type of log consisting of a series of images recorded by the imaging systems of a subspace telescope.

In an alternate quantum reality visited by Worf in 2370, the crew of the USS Enterprise-D downloaded the imaging logs from the Argus Array to learn what it been observing for six days. An analysis of the logs revealed that the array was performing covert surveillance of several Federation sites. Based on an image from the log, showing a Galor-class warship, they determined that the Cardassians had gain unauthorized access to the array and had redirected the imaging systems for espionage.

In another alternate quantum reality, when the Enterprise was confronted by a Cardassian vessel, Worf stated that it was the same one that had been responsible for reprogramming the array. When Captain Picard expressed confusion, Worf replied that it was the same one they saw in the imaging logs, but Picard knew of no such logs, and neither did Commander William T. Riker. Worf then asked Lieutenant commander Data to show them the logs, but Data also knew of no such logs. Later, Lieutenant commander Geordi La Forge appeared to tell Worf that he and the others had re-examined the imaging logs, but they showed only that the Argus Array had suffered a simple mechanical failure.
