"I Can't Stop Crying" was a 21st century Earth song.

The song was "adored" by Beverly Crusher, according to her son Jack Crusher, and she played it often when Jack was a boy. Jack recalled the significance of the song when his mind was probed by Deanna Troi in 2401. According to Jack, it was "less of a song than a memory coded in the melody," something passed down from his father Jean-Luc Picard, to his mother, and ultimately to him. (PIC: "Võx")

"I Can't Stop Crying" was composed by Will Grove-White for Universal Production Music in 2015. The song was inspired by 1920s jazz, and bears similarities to "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire," previously heard in the Star Trek: Picard Season 3 premiere "The Next Generation". [1]

Selected lyrics[]

I can't stop crying over you
Can't think of smiling now I'm so sad and blue...

I can't stop praying you'll come back home
Can't understand...
