Fig was a female Human child who lived during the mid-23rd century. Her colony on Finibus III was attacked by the Gorn in 2259, resulting in the death of her father. She and her mother escaped on a cargo vessel, and were rescued by the USS Enterprise.
As a result of trauma, she ran in a corridor, and back into the transport tube that connected the two ships, thinking there were "monsters" behind her. She was stopped by La'an Noonien-Singh, who questioned her on what she saw, and was told by Fig that the "monsters" who attacked the colony had made certain clicking noises, which allowed La'an to realize they were possibly Gorn.
She and her mother were both killed in the subsequent Gorn attack on the Enterprise. (SNW: "Memento Mori")
