Fashion was the changing style of clothing, make-up, accessoires, and hairstyles by time.

Klingons of the 23rd century wore different styles of fashion to signify which of the Great Houses they swore allegiance to. (DIS: "Battle at the Binary Stars")

According to Lwaxana Troi, a prominent fashion on Betazed was to wear wigs with small animals in a cage inside until a "formidable woman" refused to wear it. (TNG: "Half a Life")

Nail polish was used by women to look fashionable. (TNG: "The Quality of Life")

Despite The Doctor's self-admitted lack of fashion sense, in 2374 he nevertheless designed an outfit for recovering ex-Borg drone Seven of Nine to wear, which he believed "balance(d) functionality and aesthetics in a pleasing enough manner". (VOY: "The Gift")

Throughout the run of the different Star Trek series and films, several costumes, dresses, and clothing can be seen on different occasions.

"The flower dress"[]

This dress can be seen throughout the Star Trek series and films and was re-used several times. [1] The dress was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [2] It can also be seen as a set dressing piece in Garak's tailor shop in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes "Body Parts" (1996) and "Broken Link" (1996) and in Tuvok's quarters in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Prophecy" (2001). In 2019, the dress was again sold off at the Propstore and indicated use by actress Ananda Lewis on an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise. [3]

"The bright jumper"[]

This bright colored jumpsuit with green accents on the shoulders appeared in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager, and also in the video game Star Trek: Klingon. It was worn by background actresses Kristina Kochoff and Tracee Lee Cocco and an unknown actress and was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay for $293.00 in 2007. [4] During some of the Deep Space Nine appearances, colored fabric was added to the sides.

"The purple short dress"[]

This short purple dress appeared in at least two episodes of Star Trek. It was later sold off on the Propstore. [5]

"Prisoner jumpsuits"[]

These grey jumpsuits appeared in several episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. Three were sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [6] [7] [8]

"Technician jumpsuits"[]

These grey technician jumpsuits were seen with maroon and dark blue stripes on the shoulders. At least eight in total were made as there are eight different actors in the episode "The Quality of Life" which wore these suits. These jumpsuits appeared in four different episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise and in Star Trek Generations.
