Assistant []
An Entharan assistant
This Entharan assisted the arms dealer Kovin when an away team of USS Voyager started to trade with Kovin. He handed the weapons to Kovin and witnessed the testing by Seven of Nine and Tom Paris at a rock testing site at the Entharan colony planet. (VOY: "Retrospect")
This Entharan was played by background actor Patrick Barnitt who received no credit for this appearance.
He filmed his scenes on Tuesday 18 November 1997 on Paramount Stage 16. The call sheet listed him as "Entharan #2 – Patrick Barnett".
His costume from this episode was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]
Magistrate []
An Entharan magistrate
The Magistrate was the chief law enforcement officer for the Entharan traders. When Seven of Nine accused Kovin of violating her by stealing her Borg nanoprobes, the Magistrate took the charges very seriouly, as the Entharans rely on trade as a method of survival and put great emphasis on maintaining good relations with their buyers. He helped Tuvok locating Kovin's laboratory. They found regenerating nanoprobes at the lab and the Magistrate believed Kovin was guilty.
It was later proved that what Seven experienced were flashbacks of her assimilation, and that Kovin was innocent. After contacting Kovin, the Magistrate was unable to convince him that the charges were false, and Kovin died when his ship exploded in the escape attempt. (VOY: "Retrospect")
The Magistrate was played by actor Adrian Sparks.
He filmed his scenes on Wednesday 12 November 1997 on Paramount Stage 8 and Wednesday 19 November 1997 on Paramount Stage 16.
According to the call sheet, Sparks filmed two additional deleted scenes – scene 46 and 46A – on Thursday 13 November 1997 on Paramount Stage 9. These scenes included his arrival aboard Voyager in the transporter room and his conversation with Captain Janeway in a corridor.
Test subject []
An Entharan test subject
This Entharan was part of Seven of Nine's flashbacks she experienced during the trade contact with the arms dealer Kovin in 2374. In these flashbacks, the Entharan was lying on a biobed and seeking help from Seven. Later, Kovin and Scharn injected him Seven's Borg nanoprobes which assimilated him. (VOY: "Retrospect")
This Entharan was played by background actor Scott Pierce who received no credit for this appearance.
He filmed his scenes on Monday 17 November 1997 on Paramount Stage 9 and wednesday 19 November 1997 on Paramount Stage 16 and is listed as "Entharan #1 (Scott Pierce)" on the call sheets.
It is unknown if he was a creation of Seven's memory or a real Entharan.
