Dominion space, Dominion airspace or Dominion territory was the territorial region of space claimed by the Dominion in the Gamma Quadrant. During the Dominion War, Dominion space included all of Cardassian space and some de jure Federation space in the Alpha Quadrant.
The Teplan system was located just outside Dominion space near the Obatta Cluster in the Gamma Quadrant. (DS9: "The Quickening")
In 2372, the USS Defiant, after transmitting a subspace signal explaining their purpose, entered Dominion space and searched for the Founders new homeworld so Odo's illness could be cured. Doctor Julian Bashir noted that entering Dominion airspace without cloaking would gain the Founders' attention. Ultimately, after leaving their Jem'Hadar escorts at the edge of Dominion space, the Defiant returned to Deep Space 9 with Odo, cured but transformed into solid form. (DS9: "Broken Link")
Just before the beginning of the Dominion War in 2373, Elim Garak and Worf used a runabout to follow a coded signal sent by Enabran Tain. Finding that the source of the signal was deep in Dominion space, Worf stopped the runabout, having decided that the risk of stumbling over Jem'Hadar forces was too high. Garak convinced him that by going through an interstellar nebula, they could come closer to the source without appearing on the Jem'Hadar's sensors. However, shortly after they entered the nebula, they were intercepted by a large Dominion fleet. (DS9: "In Purgatory's Shadow")
In 2374, the USS Centaur mistakenly attacked a Jem'Hadar attack ship being commanded by Captain Benjamin Sisko for a covert mission. The Centaur pursued the attack ship pass the border into Dominion territory before being chased off by additional Jem'Hadar fighters. (DS9: "A Time to Stand")
On Empok Nor, Quark had Yelgrun agree to order his vessel to head back to Dominion territory at warp 9, leaving only Vorta and two Jem'Hadar guards to facilitate the exchange of Keevan and Ishka. (DS9: "The Magnificent Ferengi")
Admiral William Ross informed Captain Sisko that Starfleet Command had decided to take the fight into Dominion territory, realizing that they could not win the war without doing so. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")
In 2375, Colonel Kira Nerys was taken from Deep Space 9 via a homing transponder with a maximum range of three light years. On the following day, Odo, upon learning that the transporter beam had a Dominion signature, noted that Kira could have been deep inside Dominion space by then. (DS9: "Covenant")
Just prior to the ill-fated Second Battle of Chin'toka, Ensign Nog noted that for the Federation Alliance to lose the Chin'toka system would be to lose their only foothold in the Dominion territory. (DS9: "The Changing Face of Evil")
Kira Nerys, Odo, and Elim Garak used the runabout NCC-73918 to enter Dominion space to assist Damar's Cardassian Rebellion. (DS9: "When It Rains...")
Chancellor Gowron ordered General Martok to launch an ill-advised attack on Avenal VII, deep inside Dominion territory. (DS9: "Tacking Into the Wind")
