Central Station was a location on Vashti. It was responsible for clearing ships to pass the planet's planetary defense system.
In 2385, the itinerary of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard included a stop at this station after his visit to the North Station, to meet the next convoy of Romulan refugees. Picard returned to the Federation, never making it to the station, after learning about the Attack on Mars. (PIC: "Absolute Candor")
