Bajoran law was a collection of laws, rules and guidelines of the Bajoran people.

Between at least 2369 and 2372, crossing into Bajoran space required permission from Bajoran Control and the transmission of a ship's authorization code and flight plan. Gul Danar violated Bajoran space in 2369 when he took the Cardassian starship Aldara into Bajoran territory in pursuit of a Bajoran scout ship. (DS9: "Past Prologue") In contrast, after properly identifying himself and transmitting his runabout's code and flight plan, Chief O'Brien was properly granted permission to enter Bajoran space after returning from a mission with Major Kira Nerys in 2372. (DS9: "Sons of Mogh") During the same year, the Klingon Bird-of-Prey IKS M'Char, under the command of Commander Kaybok, held the freighter SS Xhosa with a tractor beam in Bajoran space. When the USS Defiant arrived, Major Kira informed him that Bajoran law strictly prohibited unauthorized search and seizure of vessels in Bajoran space. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")

Also in 2369, Major Kira Nerys attempted to stop Ah-Kel from entering the Bajoran wormhole by claiming he was violating Bajoran transit regulations. This may have been a ruse to prevent the Miradorn vessel from pursuing a runabout with Croden aboard, who had killed Ah-Kel's brother. (DS9: "Vortex")

In 2370, Constable Odo informed Quark that possession of a cloaking device was highly illegal under Bajoran law. Odo informed Quark that if he were caught selling one, he would spend the next fifty years digging trenches in a penal colony. (DS9: "Profit and Loss")

Assault with an intent to kill was against Bajoran law. Lissepian Mother's Day Heist conspirators Hain, Nahsk, Krit, and Larell were all arrested for assault with intent to kill in 2374 after they all discharged weapons at each other in attempts to claim the proceeds of the heist. (DS9: "Who Mourns for Morn?")

Deep Space 9 station regulations[]

After the end of the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor, Bajoran law was upheld on space station Deep Space 9 despite it being under Federation administration. As such, Bajoran regulations were upheld on the station by Bajoran security officers. There were many station regulations upheld by Constable Odo and his security force including:

Odo was interrupted before completing the quotation of the regulation to Quark, whose dabo wheel was evidently in violation of this regulation.

Unnumbered and non-specific regulations[]
