The following year, he participated in the training drills presented by Shari yn Yem, where he participated in and failed the simulation, Tribble Infestation. (LD: "I, Excretus")
He was seen sitting in the bar with Dahae when Beckett Mariner sat nearby and told Jack Ransom, Shaxs, and Andy Billups about Captain Carol Freeman's promotion to a new ship. (LD: "First First Contact")
Later, he was in a corridor when Brad Boimler ran past as he attempted to avoid being hunted by K'ranch. (LD: "The Least Dangerous Game")
He was later in the Cerritos' bar chatting with an operations commander from the USS Merced, during the celebration following the California-class' combined defeat of the rogue Texas-class USS Aledo, when T'Lyn entered. (LD: "The Stars At Night")
