Baker Campbell Hausdorff formula says that for elements $X,Y$ of a Lie algebra we have
$$e^Xe^Y=\exp(X+Y+\frac12[X,Y]+...),$$
which for $[X,Y]$ being central reduces to
$$e^Xe^Y=\exp(X+Y+\frac12[X,Y])....
