| Feb 16, 2014 at 14:09 | comment | added | Benjamin Eckstein | Impossible. 8 + 6 would mean that 2 ppl tell the trueth, thus you would create a contradiction ... you can only have 1 who tells the truth and need 3 that a lying .. thus 3*7 + 1x = 25,26,27 or 28 where x can be 6 or 8 ... and so only 6 is valid for x ... its only 1 solution possible .. and thats it :) | |
