About Jasmine

Hi y'all! My name is Jasmine (she/her) but feel free to call me Jas :) I just graduated this past June with two BAs in Political Science + Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity, alongside a masters in Sociology, and am so excited to end out my five years at Stanford back at LSP <3 When I was a freshman I was terrified of coming to Stanford, and the LSP + FLI community was INSTRUMENTAL to building my confidence and sense of community. I am deeply appreciative of the folks who make this program run and hope to give back before I go! Outside of LSP, I enjoyed being part of the Vietnamese Student Association on campus as well as a Resident Assistant in Ng House and Cedro House; I additionally cofounded a nonprofit that I ran for 3 years called Diversify Our Narrative, which focused on getting antiracist texts into K-12 schools! I'll be pursuing a career in consulting post grad with a focus on government and public sector work, but have done past internships in grassroots advocacy, campaign work, international development, philanthropy, and startups, if you'd like to chat about any of these areas. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, rock climbing, jogging, playing cards, and being with my friends and loved ones. Excited to meet you all!
