What a start! The Space Japan #GlobalExpertMission delegation attended #SpaceTide 2024 Conference "The Summit for Space Sustainability" at Toranomon Hills Mori Tower, then the British Embassy Tokyo for a debrief session and met with the Japanese company WARPSPACE. The delegation will aim to exchange cutting-edge ideas, drive enhancements in the global space sector, identify areas for joint projects and research initiatives, and explore potential synergies and challenges following a series of meetings, workshops, and site visits with their Japanese counterparts. Anlässlich der Investor Days Thüringen sind sie in diesen Tagen im Freistaat zu Gast, um neue Kontakte zu knüpfen und bestehende auszubauen. Den passenden Rahmen dafür boten wir zusammen mit der STIFT - Stiftung für Technologie, Innovation und Forschung Thüringen und dem International Startup Campus mit einem Meetup in unserer Business-Location COMCENTER Brühl Erfurt. Die ebenfalls geladenen Thüringer Unternehmen, Netzwerke und Forschungseinrichtungen konnten sich so mit den japanischen Startups austauschen, Kontakte knüpfen und erste interessante Ideen für eine potenzielle Zusammenarbeit sondieren. These days, we welcome a delegation of several Japanese startups: 🌟  We have started last week with a meeting on invitation of OptoNet e.V. to discuss German-Japanese business opportunities in space, featuring the Japanese New Space startup WARPSPACE and representatives from the #optics and #photonics industries. This meeting has set the stage beautifully. Thanks to Anke Siegmeier and all participants for the fruitful discussions. Also to startups like IDloop® or mi2-factory GmbH for the spontaneous meetings and introductions to your startups in #Jena last week. WARPSPACE has been selected together with STIFT - Stiftung für Technologie, Innovation und Forschung Thüringen, bm-t beteiligungsmanagement thüringen GmbH-t and Thueringen International and won the International Startup Campus award for a trip to Central Germany - and a wild card for the Investor Days Thüringen!
