Texas Governor Greg Abbott Meets Delta During Official Visit to Taipei On July 7th, 2024, Mr. Greg Abbott, Governor of the State of Texas, met with Delta’s Chief Brand Officer, Shan-Shan Guo, and Chief Sustainability Officer, Jesse Chou, to discuss our fast-growing manufacturing operations and investments in Plano, Texas. Governor Abbott underscored that the State of Texas offers a broad spectrum of public policies, business environment, talent and infrastructure, to help Delta and its expansion plans in Texas thrive for years to come. He also expressed his gratitude for Delta’s efforts to create jobs in Texas. Chief Brand Officer Shan-Shan Guo highlighted the essential role that Delta’s manufacturing in Texas is playing for key global trends, especially with our next-generation cooling solutions for AI data centers, the new 350kW DC fast EV chargers, and the smart energy-saving solutions for 5G telecom applications. Shan-Shan also thanked Governor Abbott for the State’s support regarding Delta’s construction plans for 2 new manufacturing facilities in Plano, Texas.
