I was in the state of impurity and there was no time for me to perform ghusl.I figured I could just do tayammum but the thing is... Maghrib was at 21:56 but I prayed at around 22:08. I'm wondering if I have to perform ghusl since I was late but the reason why I prayed so late was because it was light outside and I thought I could wait a few more minutes to pray and when I was about to pray it was much darker than before which I think was a good time to pray.Right now,it's the summer so it's a bit harder when to pray or not because my Athan prayer app said 21:56 but it was still light. Do I perform Ghusl since I was late or not? Salam!

Taymumum is only a valid option if you have no water available after search effort or if using water would harm your life. As for prayer apps you either trust them or you get prayer sheets from your local mosque if both don't match at least one of them should be wrong. I don't know of any apps or calculation methods that apply worldwide, so in case of mismatch it's more likely the app uses (or you've chosen) the wrong method. Your post doesn't reveal why you didn't have time to perform ghusl. Since a prayer time is a period between the adhan of two prayers in best case the difference is only the rewards might be higher at the beginning of the time. As far as I can read there's no shown excuse for performing tayammum mentioned in your post, but some madhhabs would allow it. in case there was really no time till next prayer.
