ImageGlass is the program you've been looking for to replace Window's default image viewer.

This small application is fast and won't give you the problems you often come across when opening up PNG or GIF files.

It functions so well because it uses RAM memory in order to load the images beforehand. Thanks to this feature, you'll be able to look through your pictures without having to wait.

ImageGlass is compatible with 14 of the most popular formats, including JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, ICO, and TIFF, among others. Additionally, the tool can change the image's size and orientation.

Its interface is very simple and neat. The images are displayed in the main window and you can use the tool bar on the upper part of the screen to rotate, look through, and zoom in on your photos, or even upload them to Facebook.
