Psychological Counseling Center of Ilia State University offers support to students with common psychosocial problems, such as:

  • Anxiety;
  • Low mood;
  • Different Phobias;
  • Relationship problems;
  • Conditions developed as a result of stress, etc.

Students will be served by the graduates of Mental Health Master's Degree Program of Ilia State University, using the latest evidence-based methods, accompanied by regular supervision.

The counseling center is open at the Iliauni Mental Health Resource Center base and has been operating since March 2019.
The center is led by Iliauni professors, Nino Makhashvili and Jana Javakhishvili.

Hundreds of students have received qualified assistance since the opening day.

The counseling center uses both individual and group counseling with an average duration of one to six sessions. Periodically, trainings are conducted in groups to acquire certain skills (effective communication, social competence, etc.).

The center works every work day.

Currently, consultations are conducted face-to-face. Remote consultations are also available.
