As part of Certa Learning Month we had our 5th and final session on All You Need to Know about Pricing! Shout out to Stephen Hinchy for another great session! Stephen took us through a day in the life of the core pricing team which was very interesting. It was great to understand what determines pricing and how the cogs work behind the scenes. During the session Grace gave an overview of the team, what a typical week looks like, our unmanned network and structure of the business, an overview of our Liffey Valley forecourt and shaping the future of unmanned network. We had a 2nd knowledge session as part of Learning Month, on All You Need to Know about HVO. These sessions are proving very popular with a great number of colleagues attending. Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is a low-carbon biofuel that serves as a direct replacement for regular diesel fuel. It is produced from treating waste plant-matter with hydrogen, which means it does not release any additional carbon emissions into the atmosphere. A big thanks to Laura Byrne, Head of Sustainable Fuels for her very informative session.
