Most of the Olympic-themed products Nike has released this summer have followed a familiar pattern: a blend of navy, white, and gold that encapsulates the spirit of the 2024 Games. However, the brand is now celebrating the Olympics in a unique way with a new Dunk Low “Be The One” colorway.

A women’s-sized release, the “Be The One” offers a gold and white color scheme with hits of brown that, alongside its name, seem to nod to capturing a gold medal. Though the base shoe isn’t extraordinary, its special accents handle the heavy lifting. Key among these is an altered tongue, one that features a flat base instead of the Dunk Low’s standard ridged setup, atop which sits a large gold medallion that reads “Be the 1. Just Do It.”

This inspirational theme is continued on the mudguard, which features an embroidered “Let’s Be The One” graphic followed by a Swoosh. Final details are provided by a mixture of gold shades on the overlays — some more metallic than others — as well as special hits on the insoles and heels and a classic gum outsole.

At the time of writing, a release date for the Nike Dunk Low “Be The One” has yet to be announced. However, it’s likely to touch down sometime this summer, potentially ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games, which start on July 26.
