Not only "2016 JavaScript Rising Stars" is a project built with Gatsby but also it's a web page that talks about Gatsby.

Check by yourself: https://risingstars2016.js.org/#ssg

On top of that, it's translated in Japanese, which will open the huge (but somehow difficult to enter) Japanese market to the Great Gatsby!

Isn't it great ? 😄

Oh cool! I didn't know your site was built on Gatsby! I did notice all the traffic it was sending though haha :-)

@KyleAMathews Thank you very much!

Actually the first version of the site was built with create-react-app.

But last week I changed everything to make a multilingual site.

FYI I chose Gatsby because I wanted a way to split my content into several markdown files, so that I can easily request translations to other people, directly from Github web UI, without having to run the site locally.

Thank you for that great project!

Ah cool, good to hear why you went with Gatsby. BTW, you might be interested in Netlify (I think I saw you're on Github Pages) as they'll build your site on PRs and when merging to master. Makes for even simpler workflow! Just review and click merge and you're done :-)

We're using that on the 1.0 branch for the coming Gatsby site + Reactiflux.com and it's quite handy.

Hiya @michaelrambeau! 👋

This is definitely late, but on behalf of the entire Gatsby community, I wanted to say thank you for being here.

Gatsby is built by awesome people like you. Let us say “thanks” in two ways:

  1. We’d like to send you some Gatsby swag. As a token of our appreciation, you can go to the Gatsby Swag Store and log in with your GitHub account to get a coupon code good for one free piece of swag. (We’ve got t-shirts and hats, plus some socks that are really razzing our berries right now.)
  2. If you’re not already part of it, we just invited you to join the Gatsby organization on GitHub. This will add you to our team of maintainers. You’ll receive an email shortly asking you to confirm. By joining the team, you’ll be able to label issues, review pull requests, and merge approved pull requests.

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us: tweet at @gatsbyjs and we’ll come a-runnin’.

Thanks again! 💪💜
