I'm no longer a Managing Director of Official Institutions Coverage; I am now Booster of Public Sector Interventions! Today marks the launch of @BNPParibas’ worldwide campaign #UnexpectedJobs. What is it? 🤔 An effort to showcase the extremely diverse talents that exist in the banking industry and debunk preconceived notions of our jobs. So in that spirit, I am joining my fellow colleagues around the world in changing my job title on LinkedIn to one that I believe better embodies what I do on a day-to-day basis. I went with Booster of Public Sector Interventions because I’m responsible for managing relationships with government and public sector clients across Europe. My mission is to provide strategic advice, financial solutions, and support to these clients to help them achieve their goals.       Ensure the marketing and business support for the Paris’ Senior Bankers in charge of the European and African clients. Liaise with numerous internal interlocutors (business lines, marketing,risk, other coverage entities…) on a worldwide basis.
      1/ Contribute to the preparation of client meetings
      - Gather specific information for briefing memos
      - Prepare ad-hoc client presentations
      2/ Follow up on the opportunities
      - In conjunction with the OIC Banker, identify / highlight / deal with key issues in order to close opportunities (Fixed Income Flow and DCM, Asset Management, Security Services, Equity and Commodities...)
      - Maintain constant dialogue with key internal stakeholders in order to keep the momentum on the new opportunities :
      the business lines
      the functions on an ad-hoc basis (Risk, Group Compliance, Communication…)
      - Interact with clients when appropriate,
      3/ Participate to the reporting, budgeting and clients communication
      - Support the OIC bankers in the budget and Client Action Plans
      - Follow up of monthly financial indicators (revenues, business opportunities, outstandings…)
      - Help to put in place and streamline the communication tools with keys clients
      - Work on set up of training programs

      - Performance of annual reviews of counterparties under responsibility;
      - Coordination with Risk Capital Markets Transaction Analyses Team on the legal documentation and collateral agreements;
      - Organisation and conductance of due diligence visits with Banks and regulators
      - Preparation and presentation of credit application and recommendation of risk limits to credit committees;
      - Development and maintainance of a good working relationship with marketers, head of territories, business lines, other Risk capital markets members and contribution to the good relationship with counterparties clients of the bank.
