Most corporate treasurers will be aware of the Loan Market Association (LMA) from being faced with LMA documentation on loan and Schuldschein transactions. However, not everyone is familiar with what the LMA does, its purpose, how they produce their forms of documentation and how they interact with borrowers. The German Association of Corporate Treasurers (formerly known as Verband Deutscher Treasurer e.V. ) spoke to Kam Hessling, Senior Director at the LMA to find out more. The voice of Corporate Treasurers in Europe
À propos
The European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT) is a not-for-profit organisation bringing together national treasury associations in Europe. We were founded in 2002 and today gather 24 member associations from 19 European Union countries, Switzerland and Russia. They bring together about 14,000 members representing 6,500 groups/companies. Our aims are to represent corporate treasurers working in non-financial companies, promote the treasury profession and support the professional development of treasurers, and generate networking opportunities for members.

Download our 2024 survey report (PDF): https://lnkd.in/d96PtMwc For the past eight years, the EACT - European Association of Corporate Treasurers has carried out its Treasury Survey to determine top priorities for corporate treasurers and identify key challenges corporate treasury departments of multinational companies are facing - as well as the technological innovations they intend to implement. The survey also aims to recognise evolutions over time and after crises. In a fast-changing environment, with geopolitical problems across the world, this survey offers an interesting picture on the wider landscape: whether priorities are changing and if they did, why. This year, we received circa 250 answers from Group Treasurers of the largest international companies across Europe. We are delighted to reveal the results. Special thanks to all survey participants from our 23 member associations and to the PwC Treasury Practice for their support in the analysis of these results.
