meta4.0 is a 2-year MSc programme (120 ECTS) jointly offered in English by Ecole Centrale de Lyon and especially its internal school in Saint-Etienne – ENISE (France), Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy), Technical University of Chemnitz (Germany), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway) and Mines Saint-Etienne (France). Our main objective: training a new generation of engineers with excellent multidisciplinary skills and knowledge to meet the future challenges of Manufacturing 4.0 in Digital, Clean, Sustainable and Smart Manufacturing. This master has been designed, in close collaboration with several key industrial partners, to respond to the needs of society and of the labour market. Becoming “greener” is expected to create more than 1 million jobs by 2030, while there are already currently 1 million vacancies in Europe for digital technology experts. Today, 70% of companies report that they cannot find the people with the right skills. The Erasmus Mundus Joint MSc meta4.0 is supported by the European Union, which will fund 90 scholarships throughout the 4 editions of the meta4.0 programme. The project has been funded by the European programme Erasmus+ – Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) – 2022, part of the Partnerships of Excellence within Key Action 2 - Cooperation among organisations and institutions.

[Grands événements] Saint-Étienne Métropole, sur la route du Relais de la Flamme ! Samedi 22 juin est un jour historique pour la Métropole. Notre territoire accueille pour la première fois la #Flamme, pour des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques d'été. 🔥 Après Saint-Chamond et Firminy, elle traversera Saint-Étienne sur près de 8 km de 17h30 à 19h30 pour embraser la vasque olympique à Geoffroy-Guichard, juste devant notre "chaudron". 🎵 Comme dans seulement 6 Métropoles en France, Saint-Étienne accueille vendredi 21 juin le Coca-Cola Music Tour, par Coke Studio. Trois concerts sinon rien sur le parvis du stade ! 🚩 Samedi 22 juin, Saint-Étienne Métropole et la Ville de Saint-Étienne ont concocté un large programme d'animations pour tous avec, pèle - mêle, du théâtre de rue place Waldeck-Rousseau, des concerts au conservatoire, des projections sur "100 ans de sport à Saint-Étienne" place Waldeck-Rousseau, des expositions au Musée d'Art et d'industrie et à Couriot - Musée de la Mine, des ateliers pour les tout-petits à la Cité du Design, des démonstrations et des initiations pour la journée olympique à Saint-Étienne, etc… 🤸♂️ Et pour finir, le superbe spectacle "Cristal Palace", de la compagnie Transe Express, toujours samedi 22 juin, à partir de 22h30 sur le parking du stade. ⚽ Du 24 au 31 juillet, Saint-Étienne Métropole accueillera six matches des Jeux, des tournois de football masculins et féminins. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master meta 4.0 participated at NAFSA: Association of International Educators annual conference in New Orleans to present meta4.0 Erasmus mundus program and develop partnerships with universities 😊 With more than 8500 participants, the NAFSA week was a great opportunity to display the excellence of this program and its international ambition. There were also great speakers who gave us their vision of international issues! Wonderful, rich and inspiring! On 15th May, the Erasmus Mundus Association organized a significant event titled The Global Pre-General Assembly Satellite Event. This online event featured two compelling panel discussions that focused on crucial aspects of digital education within the European Union. Panel Discussion I:Crafting an Inclusive Digital Education Landscape in the EU Panel Discussion II: Empowering Education with Digital Preparedness. As an Erasmus Mundus Student and Volunteer of EMA-BD attending this event was an enlightening experience. The expertise and insights shared by the panelists were incredibly valuable, offering a deeper understanding of the current trends and future directions in digital education. I learned about the importance of inclusivity and preparedness in digital education and the various ways these can be achieved. #Erasmus #ErasmusMundusGA
