There is nothing to be gained from looking for a fight in these dungeons. All you'll get in return for fighting a pack of hungry dogs is a few bites. And maybe an infection for good measure. Ultimately, one of the best pieces of advice you can get is to assume that death is an integral part of the game experience.

A dark and intriguing backdrop

Although its high difficulty level is the best-known aspect of Fear and Hunger, the truth is that the richness and depth of its backdrop is what separates it from many other similar RPGs. As already mentioned, each of the four initial adventurers has their own motivation for starting the adventure, which, in one way or another, is connected to what is going on in the catacombs. Each adventurer also has their own unique ending. In addition, there are five other special endings, for a total of nine different endings, which you can only get to if you explore the game's entire story in depth. To do so, you will likely need to read all the books you find and talk to all the characters.
