Added to what an anonymous user can do, there are a few perks:

• A logged in user can create their own user page to describe themself briefly.

• A logged in user can now replace their IP address with their username (they still have an IP address).

• A logged in user can send and receive E-mails from other users…

• A logged in user can change their settings and preferences.
