Syllabus

Mendez v. Westminster is a landmark Ninth Circuit Court Of Appeals Court decision related to the racial segregation of pupils in schools and its unconstitutionality. This case was the first to set precedent for the Supreme Court Case Brown v. Board of Education 347 U.S. 483 (1954).
