Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Suspected master is a likely UPE who created two articles, one in March 2023 and another in February 2024, before going dormant. On 6 June, they came back to delete the UPE warning message on their talk page and make several drive-by "votes" at AfD—three deletes, plus two keeps at WP:Articles for deletion/Matt Hunt (journalist) and WP:Articles for deletion/MacGregor (filmmaker). The Matt Hunt article was created by SPA Journowatch, with smaller edits by Junvenilegotl, another single-purpose account. The MacGregor article (which I'm unsure is related) is older, created by Asiuper2, another SPA. Benicaverra had also engaged in an earlier drive-by AfD spree in February, voting delete at all except WP:Articles for deletion/Mark Gillespie (producer), which was created by JaredUram. Likely related UPE network, if not obviously socks. Paul_012 (talk) 04:11, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Further examination of WP:Articles for deletion/Mark Gillespie (producer) also reveals Chaosbrigader64 (added above), which exhibits the identical pattern of creating a user page containing nothing but the username just before engaging in the AfD !voting spree. There's also Chekidalum, which does similar AfD sprees. These are older accounts with more extensive edit histories. There are other AfDs where they !voted keep that tie to other sock farms, though the connections become less clear. --Paul_012 (talk) 04:34, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
