Articles for consideration

Join us in PNCA's BridgeLab for a Wikipedia edit-a-thon that celebrates artists of color. No prior Wikipedia editing experience is necessary... we'll have tutorials and lots of assistance.

Bring a laptop and charging cord, snacks provided. We'll have a list of topics that need work, but if you have something you're passionate about, that's great!

Wikipedia is often the first place we go for in-depth information about almost everything in the world. With edit-a-thons like this one, we hope to make Wikipedia a more representative and inclusive site of information for everyone. All are welcome to attend the edit-a-thon or participate online.

Outcomes

[edit]
Participants

There were 10–12 people in attendance, performances by two artists, and discussions about Wikipedia's community, guidelines, mission, and content gaps. Participants edited some articles, practiced in the draft space, and completed more "gnomish" tasks like identifying unillustrated articles, added categories, etc. There was also discussion about hosting an Art+Feminism event in March. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:17, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
