The Collis Potter Huntington birth date edit war has come back from the dead. I see you were helpfully involved before. Could you help again? It would be greatly appreciated if you could. -- Pemilligan (talk) 04:21, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

While my first thought is to revert back to the October date, I think we need more thorough research still. October was chosen as the date to list based on the strength of the Huntington Foundation reference. However, as my own genealogical research has progressed since then, I'm less confident in that reference and want to find stronger documentation for it. Whichever date is selected to list as his birth date, the other needs to be noted as well (saying something like "some references list his date as AAA while others show BBB").
