Notes

[edit]

I've tried to keep this reasonably concise, as I dislike huge sprawling templates. However, there's a lot that could be reasonably added. I may work in the US, the Ottomans, Japan and China, depending on what people think.--Nydas(Talk) 11:19, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Ottomans

[edit]

I feel like Turkey should be added to this template. Despite the fact that they were a power in decline they were nevertheless a Great Power that remained highly involved with the international politics of the time. In addition they held colonies in Africa during the scramble (In Libya), and were a major part of the alliance system that led to the Great War. The fact that the template heavily features wars and international events that involve the Ottomans is even more reason for them to be included among the Great Powers on this list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.203.152.167 (talk) 22:19, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Crimean War in "War?"

[edit]

Why isn't the Crimean War linked in "War?" Jkrick77 (talk) 04:17, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
