Culture in Cardiff

[edit]

Could you please justify how bands that are Welsh are connected to Culture in Cardiff? They may play have played in Cardiff, they may have a member from Cardiff. You can't just link any Welsh band to Cardiff, you may as well link Kylie and U2. FruitMonkey (talk) 23:14, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I will revert the changes again. Please justify how this list works. If other people are to add or remove from this list there must be a clear understanding of its structure. A list of 'Former England Association Football captains' is a clear and defined list. This is not; it's vague and has little comprehension of how it exists. I can not see how the Manic Street Preachers can exist in this list, as they are not linked to Cardiff. Otherwise you are opening the floodgates to any loose connection to Cardiff (or any Welsh act). A clear act to place into this list would be Ivor Novello, not the Super Furry Animals. Please place a clear justification on how others can use this template. Yet again, there is no definition to this template. Why should the Manic Street Preachers be added to this template; there is no definition to the template. FruitMonkey (talk) 23:32, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This template will go hand in hand with Cardiff music scene, which I've just realised is a complete mess. So I'll be working on that and including references etc. The music scene of Cardiff, like the music scenes of other major cities, is not just about acts from the city itself, but from the wider region. This will be explained in the article shortly. Welshleprechaun (talk) 15:01, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
