All of the similar templates have images. This template used to include an image, file:Crownburger2.jpg, but it was removed by an other editor. As a result, a discussion was held but unfortunately that discussion was poorly framed by me, and the outcome was problematic. Because I phrased the question rather ambiguously, the result was about a dozen against and a similar amount for some sort of image being included. However due to my poorly phrase question, those who thought there should be an image included was split roughly in half with some in favor of the same image and other supporting changing the picture to another image. In hope to get a more concrete outcome, I am starting a new RfC that is asking a simple question- Should this template include an image, yes or no?

Just to make sure that the point of the discussion is clear: I am not asking what image should be included, just should we include one? The question of what image should be included will come after, depending on the outcome of this discussion. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 05:00, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The last RfC was quite clear in the choice for removal. I have not a clue why you want to repeat that discussion. See here: Template_talk:American_cuisine/Archive_1#Images_in_regional_cuisine_food_templates:_inclusion_vs._exclusion. And no, that RfC was not ages ago, but just last year. And yes, that discussion sees your vote to keep an image. No need for this RfC again. The Banner talk 10:59, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Everyone had their say last year, the closer assessed it properly, and there's no reason to think the result would be different this time. And unless I'm seeing things, the !vote was 13–7 against including any image. Rivertorch (talk) 16:31, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is the most American thing I've ever seen, even better it's straight from the USDA. 2600:1700:DA90:2AB0:CD81:49CC:C759:E6EA (talk) 14:01, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
