Category Terminal multiplexers

[edit]

The ability to detach a display isn't what is meant by a terminal multiplexer in GNU screen - it's the sharing of a single terminal connection by several processes (which is a distinction for text-applications, but is taken for granted with X servers). Outside of the existing examples of GNU screen and similar text-applications, terminal multiplexing has a completely different meaning, which is unrelated to this or screen. A paper about something being cited X times does not necessarily make the something notable in wikipedia terms. See WP:GNG for the wikipedia definition of notability. Ideally, widely-read and/or mass-market coverage which directly addresses the topic. Stuartyeates (talk) 22:42, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the third. Can anyone replace the first two? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.100.93.41 (talk) 02:01, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
