How many rounds

[edit]

... does a starting pistol typically hold? Maikel (talk) 15:26, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Totally depends on the make and model. Most of the starting pistols I've seen in .22 and .32 caliber have a capacity of 5, 6 or 9. Alpha Quality and New England Firearms (NEF) are too common brands in the US. 66.191.19.217 (talk) 18:20, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

.22 cal over and under. They are apparently easily modified for use as twin shot derringers. Just gotta wrap a cloth if your going to fire two off in succession as they get a bit toasty —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.39.51.116 (talk) 00:17, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Simulated smoke

[edit]

What exactly is simulated smoke supposed to be? A hologram (hardly)? Real smoke but not from a shell like pyrotechnics? Dry ice vapor? Something electrically heated like in a electronic cigarette or vaporizer? Some kind of compressed gas forming visible vapor like in a cloud chamber when uncompressed?
