If someone knows how to do it, then please upload and link an image related to this article, possibly an image of Polyaenus only surviving book. I frankly dont understand how do to so yet. These images may or may not be copyright: I have no idea how to tell

pronunciation

[edit]

Shouldn't this be pronounced "polly-EE-nus", not "polly-EN-us"? kwami (talk) 09:27, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Etymology

[edit]

The Greek name Πολύαινος means "Much Praised"/"Frequently Praised" from the verb αινέω = "praise" (hence modern greek επαινώ)

Can someone change the stupid etymology proposed in the article ! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.48.44.180 (talk) 01:14, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
