Normalized compression distance multisets

[edit]

It would be nice if there was also an article on "Normalized compression distance multisets" Similarly it would be nice to include pseudo code, even numeric examples. The use of math is dense and not too everyones taste W102102 (talk) 10:28, 16 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiarized section

[edit]

I was reading this article and thought "The section on the Normalized Google Distance sounds really familiar." I googled the first sentence and found that it appears to be word-for-word from a chapter by Cilibrasi and Vitanyi in Theory and Applications of Models of Computation (see http://books.google.com/books?id=xnHb2c1of6UC&pg=PA21&lpg=PA21&dq=objects+can+be+given+literally+like+the+literal+text+of+War+and+Peace&source=bl&ots=8KQlbWWXgK&sig=THbsieNKIhKPqbnjueuVwlCKQHw&hl=en&sa=X&ei=QCUGVNqRAsK0iwKd2YCABg&ved=0CB4Q6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=objects%20can%20be%20given%20literally%20like%20the%20literal%20text%20of%20War%20and%20Peace&f=false).
