Capitalization

[edit]

Much like "abelian" being a rare instance of an eponymous adjective honored to be written in lowercase, I also noticed that the term "pappian" and "desarguesian" is often, but not consistently spelled in lowercase. In particular, the word "pappian" to describe a projective plane where the hexagon theorem holds is spelled in lowercase.

Should we spell the word describing a plane where the respective theorem holds in lowercase, much like "abelian" used throughout Wikipedia? --MULLIGANACEOUS-- (talk) 06:24, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
