This article requires some detail on how the theory of nilpotent ideals may be used in noncommutative ring theory. As an example, consider how the nilpotence of the Jacobson radical of a right artinian ring allows one to prove the well-known Hopkin's theorem. Some general theorems in the area, and properties of nilpotent ideals, would also be useful. --PST 03:43, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
