Clarification needed regarding worlds ("levels")

[edit]

There seems to be a contradiction in this article.

At one point, it states: "Using a character from a certain franchise will unlock that franchise's Adventure World, an open-world area for players to explore and complete in-game objectives." If I understand this correctly, this means that if you use, say, Bart Simpson, you will unlock the Simpsons world.

On the other hand, the list of Level Packs and Fun Packs seems to indicate that you need to buy the Simpsons Level Pack to unlock the Simpsons world; since Bart Simpson comes in a Fun Pack (not a Level Pack), he won't unlock the Simpsons world. Which is correct? — Lawrence King (talk) 03:21, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article is fine (might have been sorted since you asked). Each franchise has its own hub world, some franchises also have a bonus level (similar to the main storyline missions, except themed specifically around that franchise, and also they unlock the use of the vehicles/gadgets in the level pack). Having a character from a franchise (say Bart Simpson) unlocks the hub world, but you need the level pack (say Homer Simpson) to unlock the bonus level (this also unlocks the hub world). What they Mean is that you have to use either Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, or Krusty The Clown on the Toy Pad to access the Simpsons World. No other character will work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.236.253.231 (talk) 03:46, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Opening

[edit]

Why does the opening read “Lego Dimensions is a Lego science fiction action-adventure[1][2] video game developed by…” it seems like it should read “Lego Dimensions is a Lego [1][2] video game developed by…” as it is also fantasy and cartoon. 104.129.196.124 (talk) 19:25, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

TT Games

[edit]

"The game reuses the same gameplay as the previous Lego games of the TT-era."

What is the TT-era?

Article long on plot--seriously lacking in game play

[edit]

This article seemed to only describe the plot. The game play is limited to a short paragraph referencing other games without giving any description whatsoever on the basics of the game. There needs to be some description of the mechanics beside comparing it to other games.

Feel free to create one. I don't think anyone is current working on the article. AdrianGamer (talk) 13:35, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Future Sets

[edit]

Explain the reasoning behind the future sets section here before adding it to the final article. As far as I can see, they are just rumours and leaks which are not suitable for Wikipedia at all. Matt14451 (talk) 12:53, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

About the date setting.

[edit]

Why can't it be Month first, date number second and year last? September 27, 2015 instead of 27 September 2015? — Preceding unsigned comment added by XSMan2016 (talkcontribs) 23:02, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lego Movie Category - Clarification

[edit]

Can anyone explain why this game is part of the category, The Lego Movie, please? I know that it has characters and locations tied in to this game, but I cannot understand why it is stated as being part of a category about that film. I mean, I can understand the creation of the category to provide a list of items associated to the franchise it created, but I can't understand why Lego Dimensions is being associated to it, as surely it is it own franchise branch of Lego, and not that of the film.GUtt01 (talk) 08:25, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
