Note

[edit]

See note about this and two related articles posted at at the music discussion page. --KenWalker | Talk 08:09, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:MUSIC, the notability of a band is determined principally by the presence of reliable sources. This article was already sourced to NME, Spin, Exclaim! and Chart, which are all gold standard sources for an article about a rock band, so I don't see what the problem is. While the article could certainly use further expansion, it does already meet our basic inclusion criteria as written.
That said, Post-Nothing Tour is certainly proddable, as the standard for inclusion of individual concert tours on Wikipedia is far higher than just "this tour happened". I've tagged that one, but I've removed the tag from the band.
By the way, though, you generally need to give it more than one day for people to notice and respond to a post of this type. Bearcat (talk) 17:41, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unsubstantiated Anecdotes

[edit]

Removed "(Unfamiliar had offered to press Post-Nothing on either CD or LP, but not both, with the band opting for an LP release)" from Post-Nothing section. These comments are unsubstantiated; please include references when editing your entries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.119.146.35 (talk) 23:06, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
