Chtrede, this article is about the ISO 3166-2 codes for Namibia, not the GENC codes listed in the Statoids page. Statoids itself says that GENC is "supposed to correspond to ISO 3166-2" (in other words, that they may not actually correspond) and that "ISO hasn't yet officially issued codes for these two" referring to Kavango East and West. The ISO OBP is an official online mirror of ISO 3166-2, which has not reflected the region renames and split yet. The lead already explains that adequately. Please refer to serious sources - We are talking about ISO 3166-2 - May the English WP stay with wrong information if people keep on reverting correct info. I stay with the German WP and the latest info --Chtrede (talk) 12:55, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Chtrede: This article is about ISO 3166-2, not about HASC. Statoids lists HASC and FIPS codes, not ISO 3166-2 codes. The ISO 3166/MA has not changed the names of Karas and Caprivi or added codes for Kavango East and West yet, as shown on its official website (hardly "not serious"). Which of these statements don't you understand/agree with? SiBr4 (talk) 14:08, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
