In a Haworth projection the bond angles of the -OH and H are drawn in the axial positions.


It should be noted that the Haworth Projection is not the lowest energy conformation. It is used to allow the ease of determining the relative configuration of the susbtitutive groups.--Hokietiki@hotmail.com 14:42, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mills/Mils projection

I know this way of presenting molecules as "Mills/Mils projection". Does it mean the same thing? Noaa 12:42, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
