Two of the names blogs on this page are links, but they just redirect to this page (Gawker Media). The others are broken links. Why exactly is this a useful thing? --Jfruh 02:31, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

StarryFever?

[edit]

Last I heard, Gawker didn't host their blogs on Blogger, used their own servers for images as opposed to ImageShack, and didn't include StarryFever. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Redundant and contrary claims in intro

[edit]

The opening section says both of the following:

1. On August 16, 2016, Gawker and all its brands were acquired at auction by Univision Communications.[7] Two days later on August 18, the company announced that Gawker.com would cease operations the following week, while its other sites will continue to operate.[8]

2. On September 21, 2016, Gawker Media's assets except for Gawker were purchased by Univision Communications and have been moved to Gizmodo Media Group.[9][10]

These need to be verified and condensed. -Reagle (talk) 17:22, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
