Introduction needed

[edit]

EFT should be defined. (SEWilco 20:50, 9 November 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Incorrect heading

[edit]

Can someone please check whether this entry is correct. I think its Electronic FUND Transfer Act. I'm not sure if there's an "s" in "Funds" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pwong2 (talkcontribs) 21:34, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The heading is, indeed, incorrect. Per Section 901 of title IX of the Act, the short title of the act is the Electronic Fund Transfer Act. In addition, the Act and "Regulation E" are not the same thing. Regulation E is a short-hand reference to the sections in the Code of Federal Regulations that implement the Act. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peltiferous (talkcontribs) 01:45, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Verified and changed per above.

Tone/style

[edit]

The article reads like an informational brochure from a financial institution: descriptive and how-to. The article should be rewritten with an encyclopedic tone and expanded.
