Date of Death: December 14th or 15th?

https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/35258187/former-ucla-olympic-women-basketball-coach-billie-moore-dies and https://uclabruins.com/news/2022/12/15/womens-basketball-billie-moore-legendary-ucla-womens-basketball-coach-dies-at-79.aspx both say "Wednesday night", which would be December 14th. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/12/15/sports/ncaabasketball/billie-moore-dead.html says "Thursday". https://wusports.com/news/2022/12/15/womens-basketball-washburn-athletics-mourns-loss-of-billie-jean-moore.aspx says "on Thursday, Dec. 15". Who should we trust? -- PFHLai (talk) 03:00, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Probably the 14th per ESPN and UCLA in my opinion, they seem closer to the subject and the announcement came out on the 15th which may have influenced other sources. Here is another which says the 14th - https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/15/sport/basketball-pioneer-billie-moore-dies-spt/index.html - Indefensible (talk) 03:48, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'd also say 14th. The NYT cites the announcement to UCLA, so I'd defer to UCLA on this. NYT is usually pretty good about citing if they talked to a family member, but they did not indicate that here. Washburn admittedly says they have no connection to Moore, so I wouldn't think they have any inside knowledge. Finally, the local Los Angeles Times, has details about her last days, and also says Wednesday night.[1] Perhaps the NYT didnt adjust for time zone difference.—Bagumba (talk) 05:27, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Indefensible and Bagumba. I have changed the date of death in the article to December 14th. --PFHLai (talk) 13:58, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
