NPOV 4th opinion

[edit]

You need to stop arguing about this obscure topic. The talk page reads like bickering children. I'm out doing tag cleanup and came upon this. The page looks perfectly fine to me. As far as I am concerned, the tag will stay - I'd add a big red flag if I could. Stop behaving like children, reach a consensus, and move on with your lives.Jjdon (talk) 21:22, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I tried in the beginning, but was rebuked for trying to make some improvements that were summarily removed. --THE FOUNDERS INTENT TALK 18:00, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

20 Aug 08 editing dispute

[edit]

I spent a lot of time putting this cert sect together. You are deleting it and replacing it with an old contraversy section which contain dubious information. BTW, please point out MY press release please. --THE FOUNDERS INTENT PRAISE 00:10, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

API Certification statement

[edit]

I'd like to update the part where it talks about a "Complete line" of API certified products. The very link that is provided to API's web site backs up my position. Their only line of oil that is API certified is their "XL" line, which in no way comprises their "complete" line. This statement should be changed to say they "market a full line of synthetic oil" and completely omit the API statement or at least clarify that only their XL line is certified.

I'd like a few others to click the link, read the information, and then look at their complete product line at amsoil.com. If we can all agree that I'm not blind, then we can get this thing corrected. I worry about articles with misleading information about products because it really straddles the line between encyclopedia and advertising when we're using Wikipedia to further promote this company's misleading statements.--prop21 (talk) 13:54, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The SAE 15W-40 Synthetic Blend Gasoline or Diesel Oil is also labeled with the API symbol. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RhiebertWiki (talkcontribs) 07:18, 19 December 2009 (UTC) The OE line is also API certified.[reply]

Not what the issue is. I don't see anything factually incorrect. What API certification statement do you have an issue with; the one under the History section that says their XL line is API certified? --THE FOUNDERS INTENT PRAISE 17:15, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I have noticed that Amsoil dealers are vying to place their dealer numbers in the related Amsoil external links, content and references. This is inappropriate and fraudulent advertising, and I will rollback any edits trying to insert these numbers. I may even copy down your dealer number and report you to Amsoil. --THE FOUNDERS INTENT PRAISE 15:25, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Keep it accurate

[edit]

Major changes to this page have been made to accurately reflect the history and current business structure of AMSOIL.

There was an objective article prior to your edits Cdkritzm, from what I learned from that I wonder if you sell AMSOIL products? You would have an incentive to make AMSOIL look as appealing as possible to people doing research on the internet. - Schnob Reider (talk) 11:20, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
