[edit]

It's as significant to South Africa and the rest of the world as are the others listed here: Advertising Standards Authorities , where they are disambiguated by country. Are we axing all of them? I mean to fix these redlinks too; believe several will already have articles written; plan to search each. Other suggestions for improvement? duff 04:57, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No indication of Notability, by adding third party RS Weaponbb7 (talk) 05:16, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think the ASA is important and notable as an entity, but that the article in its current state does not reflect it. A rewrite is required that will include the history of the ASA (when and why was it formed?), third party citations and notes on some adverts by prominent companies (eg. adverts by Nandoes, SAB Miller etc) that have been withdrawn due to an ASA ruling. I might assist later today if time is available. --NJR_ZA (talk) 05:35, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
